    Hi

I hate to say but in the last two weeks I have had a barcardi and coke (let it go flat before drinking it) as was at a party.
Naughty but nice!! I had no pain and no dumping. But I am not recommending anyone drink it. Probably will have another over Christmas but this would be a massive treat after 6 months of being a perfect bypass patient xx

    Hi

Like the others I have juice and ask for glass of water to water down!!! I have had an occassional glass of wine but also try to water that down a bit too. Was at a party last riday and my sister brought me a barcardi and coke (my old fav) – I left it there about an hour then sipped it very slowly as did not want to be rude. Was fine.
    Take care xx

    Hi Pompet gal
I am sure if you search the form there will be lots of points from many people. I saw consultant, dietican, specialist nurse etc etc. Had blood tests done, was asked lots and lots of questions too. Takes few hours but worth it you normallly get your date fairly soon after appt. Take care – stay warm xx

    Hi SarahD
Sounds about right to me. I stayed on puree foods about 6-8 weeks.
Something to get your teeth into – try cream cracker with low fat cheese or dairylea as a snack.
Or I sometimes have two for lunch.
Sounds to me like you are doing great – well done xx
