Hi everyone. We have been liaising with the university of Surrey regarding this research project and Dr Debbie Cooke has asked if we could post this request for case studies:

” *Did you have type 2 diabetes before having your weight loss surgery?
*Have you had a pregnancy after your weight loss surgery?
If your answers are yes to both of these questions, we would like to invite you to take part in a study that we are running at the University of Surrey. We are carrying out the study to help us understand more about women’s experience of health care as well as their beliefs, attitudes and behaviours in relation to their diabetes and pregnancy following weight loss surgery. If you would like to take part in the study it will involve being interviewed, by phone, at a time convenient to you. If you would like to find out more about the study or would like to take part, please contact me Dr Debbie Cooke (Tel: 01483 682926, d.cooke@surrey.ac.uk) .”

Thank you. Confidentiality will be observed 100%

If you know of anyone else who may be interested, please could you pass on these details? It has been re-posted on the Streamline Surgical Facebook page. I think it’s pretty important research, don’t you?

    Thanks.
