I’m due to have my op in October. When I had my band I had to have one month on fluids only and then one month on sloppies (I had a very strict surgeon !!) however I have no idea what the procedure is after bypass. I know the dietician will probably run through everything but just want to be prepared.
Can anybody tell me what type of food/drink and what consistency I can have for the first few weeks. I think I was too shocked yesterday to ask Shaw.

Gaynor, when you meet up with the dietician prior to your op you will be given a list of foods to eat at different stages after bypass but the first 4weeks it’s usually soups soups and more soups purreed meat/veg/fruit the list is endless!!!

Good luck much love Ellie xxx

Thaks Ellie, i’m keeping you busy this morning.
I need to take a few deep breaths and calm down I think.
How long before my op will I see the dietician, it would be nice to have a few bits ready prepared ?
