Had my surgery at Clemantine Churchill with Shaw Somers on 17th July. Feeling fine now, just started last week of purée, from first consultation at end of June to now I’ve lost 4 stone.
How are you, did you have yours last week, did I see? Was everything ok?

    Hi carol,

That’s great news! 4 stone wow!!!! I am day 7 post op and feeling great!!!
I was struggling with purée food so started having mash with milk and cheese and salmon mashed with a fork! Mullet light yogurt, wee rabid and milk! Since then have been feeling great! Was a bit worried I did not want to over do it but I think I am ok!!
It would be great to keep in touch and support each other as I live in Hemel and work in london and drive every day! I do not think the other half will want to strand the group meetings with me at clementine once a month!! He will just want to get home after a long day!!! I will try my best to go to the groups but will be difficult!!
    Talk soon

It is a fair way to the Clem for group, I work shifts so not always easy to get to the meetings but we could try and find dates and go together. I used to drive to London every day so I know how that feels!.
I’ve mashed up potato and extra lean corn beef, cheese and beans, trying to move on a bit now but a little hit and miss. I’m just taking it easy and not worrying. PM and we could arrange a quick coffee and chat or just for support.
