We recommend that you have a small volume of fluid removed from your band at between 8 and 12 weeks of pregnancy. We do not want a tight band to aggravate morning sickness. Aside from the nutrition issue, we don’t want to increase the risk of band slippage from excessive vomiting.

The heathiest babies are those receiving good nutrition especially before 12 weeks and after 30 weeks. Watch your eating in pregnancy but don’t make a conscious effort to lose weight. An ideal weight gain (for the whole pregnancy) would be 10-13kg.
