    BBC News – Rise in obesity poses ‘dementia time bomb’

    Just lifted this from the Streamline Facebook page. I don’t know about you guys but this frightens me more than any of the other things associated with obesity. What do you think?

    It’s scary stuff. Not clear whether losing the weight lessens the risk.

    I can only think that hormonal changes are the reason the threat is lessened. Huge weight loss can re-boot fertility so if it is that ‘powerful’ it might be possible to change our brain function too?

    Going to research this thoroughly. Dementia/Altzheimers is my biggest fear. I cannot bear the thought of my family visiting me and having no clue who they are 🙁
