I am just about to fly off on holiday, and as soon as I land I am on the milk diet for a milk before band surgery 3 weeks tomorrow.

Will I still be able to do exercise whilst being on the milk diet? and any tips for surviving the week of no food?

Can I just ask everyone that has had a band, do you all wish you had done it sooner or anyone have any regrets.

I am excited but also nervous, and looking forward to saying goodbye to the extra 4 stone!

Any advice would be gratefully received.

    Enjoy your hols!!!

I found the milk diet very good! See how you feel but I was full of energy but got tired early in the evenings! The first 3 days were the hardest, once through those it’s a doddle!!!

I had surgery last wk and I’m doing ok! Lost 1st 3lbs with 2 week milk diet and a week post band!

Good luck! Looking forward to hearing about your journey!

Hi there and a huge welcome to you!

Gentle exercise should be fine but no marathons! The simplicity of it appeals to many, including me I have to say, so you should be fine.

    Have a great holiday.

    Doodah x
