    How silly am I getting excited about starting my milk diet on Monday – think its coz I know this part of the journey is coming to an end & my next journey begins finding me again 🙂

    Thanks yep day 1 so far doing well as long as I don’t let the head hunger get to me. I agree that the milk diet should be easy to follow as there is no working out to do – at least I won’t have to worry about a pack up for my hospital appointment tomorrow 🙂

    It’s really simple and that’s what suited me in all seriousness. If head hunger starts shouting at you, tell it to shut up and go away. This is the final hurdle so stay strong and focused. It will all be worth it in the end, you’ll see.

    I also found the milk diet to be really easy to follow and actually found myself looking forward to my oxo every evening. I was fortunate in only needing to do,it for a week though, but I chose to be on it for 10 days, just in case. Mind you I was one of the odd ones that was actually looking forward to my bypass and have not looked back since. It’s now been 6 months since surgery and I am almost ot goal weight already. Good luck with your surgery and your new life afterwards.
