The tabby tolerates me and only speaks to ask for food. The ginger adores me and snuggles up when I sleep. I have no discipline and they have the run of the place. They also supplement their (ample) rations with baby animals. In recent years we have had a (dying) seagull and fox’s brush dragged through the catflap. Sorry about Lucky. They really other members of the family.
