    Hi Fjojo (sorry, can’t bring myself to use your forum name 😉 )

    Most of us found the milk diet, especially in the first few days, gave us wind and either diarrhoea or constipation… it normally passes after a while as your tummy gets used to it and may even go the other way… it’s worth sticking with the milk diet if you can as it is SS’s preferred pre-op diet and does make your surgery easier for your surgeon and the bonus is (other than a good headstart on your weightloss) it prepares you for your early post op days of eating liquids, purees and sloppies…
