I found the milk diet pretty easy as well. I think having all food choices taken away from me meant that I couldn’t make the wrong ones! 😉

I also found it a real help for the early days post op – liquid diet and sloppies would never have sounded so appealing if I hadn’t stuck to milk for a fortnight and been so looking forward to just being able to taste something, anything different! 🙂

As Buzz said, keeping busy was really important, as was spreading out my allowance fairly evenly throughout the day. Milky coffee was lovely for brekkie, especially with some sugar free vanilla or cinnamon syrup… Mmmmm!

I think the biggest issue I had was managing to drink all of my 2 litres of water a day – what with the 4 pints of milk and the oxo (chicken flavour were the nicest IMO), I felt pretty water logged by the end of the day! LOL!

BUT – 10lbs weightloss and a perfect liver according to my surgeon, so definitely worth sticking with…

Good luck with it to all you pre-oppers out there, you CAN do it – if I can, believe me, anyone can.
