    I was lucky enough to only be on the milk diet for one week. I was really dreading it though because I am not a big milk drinker. However it went really well and I coped a lot better than I had thought I would. I stuck to just milk and didn’t have anything else, I tried the salty drinks but couldn’t get them down so I just had a pinch of salt daily. I had no side effects other than being hungry occasionally but knowing it was for a good reason helped me get through that and a glass of milk took the worst of the hunger away. Not convinced I could have coped for more than a week, but didn’t have to so no point in going there.
