    Oh Clairec!
    I am delighted for you!
I am glad you have coupes so well!
Take it from me- when you get home do nothing !
I was so pleased to be home I pottered only a bit but it was too much.
It made getting food down more difficult.
I have watched 3 DVDs back to back only getting up to get tea etc
And felt better for it- and of course the water bottle is by my side- sip sip sip as Doodah tells us!
She should be a doctor really!!
She really does know how we feel at each stage!
I did pretty much the same at hospital and the nurses commented on how mobile I was- to me it’s really important!
So lovely to hear from you.
I changed my dressings today after my shower.
    Tick.
I’m just resting today and delighted for you once again!
All being well/ health/ lift offers, I will be at the meeting!
    Look after yourself,
    Julie xx

Oh Julie, what a lovely thing to say. Thank you.

However, if I were a Doctor, I would be too busy to do the thing I love most – helping other people to make sense of and get the best out of their wls!! I love my job so much. I cannot tell you how happy I have been over these past few months to see all you lovely people from the support group and this forum blossom. Plus I know it will go on for ages. You will all have ups and downs but your lives will be so different in so many positive ways and I will get to see it!! How fab is that!?

Take each day as it comes my lovely and I hope you feel up to coming along next week. Boy, what a cheer you and Claire are going to get!! hope they don’t throw us out for being rowdy haha!

My only down side of surgery is the dizziness which will get better apparently when my blood vessels catch up with me and shrink. Got up to quick this morning and by the time I reached the loo it was going dark and starry. Next thing I knew was when I had planted my face in the loo wall. First time I’ve fainted Ouch! Sore face. 🙁

Hi Audra wow that’s a bit worrying , are you going to see your GP when you get back just so they can monitor your blood pressure ? Just be careful , did you all enjoy Cadbury world it’s amazing . Hope to see you Thursday

So just back from a weekend in lee abby devon , the first weekend away in two years . It was full board , first meal was puréed squash and beans it was yuck but they did try bless them , luckily I had cheese and cracker which was more than enough for lunch . The rest of the time I just had what every one else has but just tiny portions . It was difficult as complete stranger wanted to know why I was eating tiny portions and declined the puddings . .i don’t mind telling friends and family but stranger who I would never meet again !!! . So I said I have just recently had gastric surgery and my hiatus hernia repaired . Both true . Eating out wasn’t difficult just the huge portions which are very off putting . Can see the light at the end of the tunnel

Forgot saw the surgeon for my post op follow up they were pleased said weight loss as expected and thought the hiatus hernia was causing the asthma due to gastric reflux , since WLS asthma has completely gone , now to convince GP that I don’t need the medication for asthma, blood pressure , and heart . And give back my sleep apnoa machine .
