I am wondering if anyone knows how long I will have to refrain from lifting my 6 month old little girl after surgery?

    Hi natalie

I was pretty much back to my normal life after a week ( driving, washing, shopping, school run etc etc ) But having said that i wasn’t lifting a little one. 🙂 .I would ask your support team, but i think taking it easy for at least 2 weeks would be about right. But you will know what feels ok .

Good luck and keep us posted, not long to go. 🙂

Thanks Heidi. Will have my phone with me Saturday so will let everyone know how I get on as soon as I can. I had a section on my daughter and was not allowed to lift anything other then her for 6 weeks. Did you have a gastric band too?

    Hi Natalie,

To be honest I didn’t even give this a thought, I picked up and cuddled my 6 month old as soon as I was back from theatre!!! Not sure that’s advised though!!! Good luck on Saturday!!!xxx
