    The green zone is when your band is tight enough to slow down real food but lose enough for you to be comfortable.

    The red zone is when the band is over-restricted. Patients often complain of reflux and heartburn. Despite the tight band, these patients often gain weight as they are only able to eat higher fat soft foods.
