    hi just a quick question can you have sugar free fizzy drinks like diet coke that are completely flat because I’m sick of the juices and cordials?

    I have been told it’s ok but I dunno. I agree juice is boring now!

    It’s best to avoid it as will send your blood sugar levels soaring
    Also post band/bypass your small pouch does not tolerate ”carbonated ”drinks well
    as it causes gas build up
    not good in a bariatric patient

    Completley flat is good but never as good as it was.
    Pretty disapointing but if needs must…
    Your probably find the sweetness of flat very sickly…….lol I did…

    I tried about 6 months out, with a very flat glass….. just for the craving and have had probably the equivilaent of 2 cans now in 18 months….. Please degass it if your going to do it…. Fizz nearlly killed me ( or thats what it felt like at 4 months…

    A reformed diet coke aholic…
