A friend at work sent me this as he knows I’m starting a WLS journey…a good read and it’s great to see some more understanding out there in the media.

Fascinating article. I watched a recent documentary that explored the ‘hunger hormone’ and how gastric bypass surgery essentially rids the body of the need to feel hunger. I certainly have not felt hungry since my bypass in march and although ‘head hunger’ occasionally tries to make an appearance I have so far been able to keep strong and not give in to temptation.
Its great to see positivity about WLS in the media. Maybe a time will come when all the cynics out there with understand the science Behind WLS and stop voicing negative and ill informed opinions about it!
