    Hello Streamliners

I had my bypass on Monday with Mr Somers and came home yesterday. It is good to be home but am having little periods of being weepy. Is this normal after the op – I am guessing the general anaesthetic could be making me feel weepy and emotional but am just wondering how the rest of you felt a few days post-op?

I met rubybling in hospital – hope you are doing okay…

    Hi Floyd,
I went home yesterday too. I feel extremely tired, not sure if it is to do with lack of food or post-op stuff. I am doing okay, not feeling weepy, but my brain is in turmoil see-sawing between whether I made the right decision and feeling happy that I have done it. I am glad that is over with after worrying about it for so long, but worrying about what complications I may get and whether they will be picked up by me. I have a tendency to ignore things in the hope that the problems goes away!!!
I am going to go and have some pureed soup. I am having trouble drinking more than 1 litre of water, but I suppose it is early days.
