Thought I’d introduce myself rather than just jumping in!

Am due to have a gastric band on February 22nd at the Spire Hospital, Portsmouth and am very excited at the thought of my whole new life afterwards with all the happiness it should bring ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Sminky and welcome to our friendly forum.

It’s highly possible that we will both be in the Spire, Portsmouth at the same time! I’m having my next phase of plastic surgery there on 21 Feb. In fact we WILL be in at the same time as I will be in for 2-3 days.

I’m so excited for you. All of us on here know how absolutely amazing life can be post wls. Well, not all of us obviously as some are still either deciding or waiting. It will be one of the best decisions you will ever make. Look forward to hearting all about it.

It is most definitely exciting having wls, and seeing your own transformation in your new life, I have never been the size I am in over 25 years, I just feel like a new person and very happy.

Wishing you all the best, you never know you could meet Doodah who is an inspiration to everyone!

Aw shucks, Thank you SO much Claire. You know what though, we all inspire each other. One of the reasons I love my job so much is that I get to meet such wonderfully brave, committed and focused people who then become friends. This forum is part of that process. We are all very lucky to have this place aren’t we?

I’m posting later about my plastic surgery journey so you can all see what lies ahead for you, should you feel the need to complete your journey even further ๐Ÿ˜‰
