Hi Kimbo
Everyone is different and I found that my body would tell me (and still does) when I have had enough! I think at your stage I was only managing a few teaspoons so I’m sure you are on the right track.
I had also prepared loads of food and put it in the freezer for post op meals but I ended up not eating a lot of it. The protein is important though. I got some of the boil in the bag fish portions and blended them with a bit of milk or the sauce they come in. These were quite tasty but also gave me a good hit of protein. Slow cooked stews blended to purée with gravy are good and I also made some lentil Dahl and blitzed that down too. Be careful with yogurts. even the ‘light’ ones are loaded
with sugar and I found myself dumping on one in my first week post op! It’s trial and error really but don’t forget, it’s really early days. Stick to the guide lines and you can’t go wrong. (< 5g of sugar or fat in 100g is recommended.)
Glad to hear you are feeling well. You will start to see the weight drop off in no time.
Have a lovely weekend
Love Katy x
