I reiterate everything Katy has said. In addition, do NOT try to push yourself too soon. You have had MAJOR surgery and will need plenty of time to get fit again. Having aid that, move about a bit as much as you can as the benefits are many: less chance of a DVT, the wind will disperse and work it’s way out (parp!) and you will feel like you are ‘on your way’ quicker.

SO excited for you my lovely. I’m still thankful every single day that I was given this new life. It will be five years in July and I’m still full of wonder at how much my life has changed for the better. We are all here if you need us 🙂
