Hi

I just found this old post that mentions itchy stitches. I’m nearly 3 months out and my stitches are long gone and my wounds are well healed, but my scars still itch. Not all the time but often the nearly drive me to distraction. Anyone else?

Mine itched for MONTHS! My tummy tuck scars still itch occasionally. I have deduced that it is when I don’t moisturise them enough. So, after every shower or bath I slather them all with ‘Dream Cream’ from Lush.

Bio oil is helpful too but much more expensive.

Maybe worth a try. Any moisturiser should do and can aso help to reduce scarring 😉

Hope this is helpful
