Another interesting thing I found out when talking to someone about this, I was checking the difference between normal fizzy drink and diet fizzy drink, in this case it was TESCO. The interesting thing was that both contained Aspartame, so just keeping of diet fizzy in not the answer check the contents label before you buy normal as well, although if you see what Coke would do to a tooth left in a glass of it over night you wouldn’t drink any of it.

I used to drink a lot of fizzy drinks before my Bypass but have not touched a drop since because I was told not to by my team and after almost a year I don,t really miss it any more, just wish the drinks industry would do a few more none fizzy drinks other than water, to give us a bit of choice if a drink is needed when out and about. And the few they do often have so much sugar that you can feel your teeth curling as you drink them :).
