I completely agree. We all have a valid opinion as we have experienced it. I remember not listening much to the advice of my health visitor when my children were small. She had no children. I listed to my Mum and Aunties!

Having said that the best Mother ever was my Aunt. She raised all her siblings (10 of them) when they were orphaned. She never had children of her own.

What I particularly dislike about the article is the suggestion that fat people should be embarrassed about themselves. No one should ever be made to feel that they are a blight on society!
