Interested to hear the recipe for Paul’s homemade protein bars. I’m 20 weeks bypass and I normally have either small bowl of porridge or boiled egg with small piece wholemeal toast for breakfast. Lunch is either cottage cheese & 3 melba toast or small bowl of baked beans with low fat grated cheese and for dinner chicken casserole made in slow cooker or salmon or cottage pie or chilli. Snacks are either low fat cheese triangles or milky coffee or melon. I do use Carol’s recipes as well my husband loves the thai salmon and I like the pizza made with courgette. I too use a small bowl or tea plate. Lost just over 5 stone but still have a long way to go.
