I agree. I don’t know a single person who has regretted having wls, even if they have had problems afterwards. Someone even compared it to ‘Sophie’s Choice’ – that if they had to choose between a family member and their bypass, they would keep the bypass! Not sure I would go that far but it highlights just how much value we all place on the fabulous tool we have been given.

My life it is hard though. I with the media and the general public would understand that. I think if anyone says ‘Eat less, do more. Simple.’ I might be in fear of losing my patience with them! Say that to an alcoholic, a drug addict or a smoker: ‘Just stop doing it’. Yeah right. When you stop being an ignorant bigot.
