So lucky precious,

I had mine in the afternnon and sat about waiting like a loon… gives you time to focus and relax…
Was back on the ward by visiting time, Mrs Buzz came up with my sister in law, stayed around for ten minutes and left in tears….. I was trussed up like a mummy..on oxygen and had nurses fussing with some rare condition that had me popping like bubblewrap…..
I was in a tad of a mess after ripping out all my drips when comming around….lol…. Always do that…. its not the first time…
Just so pumped up with meds you start speaking jibberish lol, thats what upset the misses…

A few hours later I was normal (if thats possible) and wondering where she was….. the following day she was so relieved…..

Just prepair visitors that its not a pretty site and you will be wired up to allsorts for a good few hours, if they dont have you up and about that noght you will be in the morning for sure…..

Its all pretty scarey but quite normal….. just best let them know what to expect….

You wont get much sleep thats for sure, not till you get home to some creature comforts….

Your be fine…… just relax, take an ipod or something….

I think thats to take your mind of it all….

Fear not…. its all part of a wonderful journey….

Chin up…
