Hiya, it’s gone really well so far. Very straight forward, the team here have been fantastic.
Fingers crossed will be going home tomorrow. Had my ramekin of clear soup and a few teaspoons of yogurt today, couldn’t manage anymore.

Bit nervous about what to eat when I get home. Made some lentil soup and will make some chicken soup. Also got jelly and muller light at home. Any other recommendations?

So happy to know that everything went so well.

I personally stuck with soups for quite a while as a) they are easy to eat b) I could control what went in them and c) it is so comforting. However, you will be given some guidelines (if you haven’t already) and don’t forget that your dietitian is only at the end of the phone should you have any problems/questions.

Also, Carol Ball’s book is superb as it gives recipes and ideas from day one post op.

Return to Slender, the UK’s first bariatric cookery book | Bariatric Cookery

This is her website. you can join up and be sent newsletters and recipes etc and also purchase both Carol’s books.

Another great website is:

Bariatrics megastore

A wls person’s heaven ;-))

Hope this helps
