Hi Loulou,

I’m another” “graduate” of Mr Slater at the Clementine Churchill and he is a lovely kind man and a skillful surgeon. What’s not to like? Of course you have anxiety and concerns, you’re only human. And this is not a step to be taken lightly, but if you’ve been around this forum, you’ll know everyone felt the same as you.

But for me, I have had an amazing journey since my op in April 14. I struggled in the first few days with post op pain but I’ve not really looked back since. I’ve lost 9 stones and my target weight is in sight. I walk 30 minutes every day and can go uphill easily. I’ve recently added 5 minutes a day going up and down the back steps at home. Goodness knows what the neighbours think but I can feel my fitness increasing.

And I look good in my skinny jeans 😀
