ruby tuesday

Just to update, still get pain sometimes, surgeon thinks it is irritable bowel, not so sure myself. Done well recently and am now 11 stone 4, despite no excercise for the last couple of weeks due to health and being away, yet can now eat a very varied diet, so for anyone in the early days despairing of ever being back to normal, it happens quicker than you would think! I eat off a tea-plate, but can tolerate all meats, fish now, prawns, salad, rice and pasta, a sandwich, even tiny quantities of things with sugar in sometimes, so the only thing that has really changed is that I still don’t like milk and cereal. Have tried soya milk and now lactose free, but not keen. I do have a little in tea, but can rarely finish a cup now, just seem to really dislike it, and with cereal it makes me feel funny, yet fine with yoghurt and cheese, which I have daily, so no loss really, just will now have to start calcium supplements. All in all, no regrets, and pleased with progress. Oh, and clothes now 16 bottoms, 14 tops, so tooks lots more out of storage recently, and constantly ferrying to charity shop as not up enough on computors to e-bay, but I wish I was as the money would be helpful to replace things like jeans that I keep having to buy!
