I always seem “hungrier” (not that I ever feel hungry just know I need to eat as I start flagging & I’m told I look pale! Or tired) at work but I think it’s because I’m far more active 12 1/2 hour shifts in A&E! I think it’s because you’re burning off more calories & not taking many in. My dietician says I should try get between 800 – 1000 cals in specially when I work. I don’t count calories but know I don’t get that many in!

Your taste does change a lot. I really enjoy the small amounts I eat & feel full quickly so don’t miss larger portions.
