Hi Chez,

I feel for you, I really do. Unfortunately I’ve not got any tips or tricks to solve your problem. My experience with NHS was just a flat refusal for funding so I gave up (had I been involved with this forum at the time, I may have persevered, but I didn’t know then what I know now). Anyway I was then fortunate enough to get my bypass through my health insurer’s co-pay scheme so I could just about afford it.

What I would say is don’t feel despondent about the delay, I believe in fate and when you look back you may identify a good reason for this. Believe me, wls is worth waiting for. I feel reborn. A positive thought is that you have been given extra time to prepare for what is major surgery, maybe you’ve been given this time to get yourself as strong, fit and well as possible, thus making your recovery easier.

Don’t lose heart, my love. All will be well.

Chris x
