Lilly darling,
When you were pre op you didn’t know what feeling hungry was like
because you never allowed yourself to feel hunger -you would simply EAT.
You equate feeling ”full” WITH feeling stuffed after a pre op binge you may have had
But actually you don’t feel hungry
which believe it or not Lily- in real terms means YOU ARE FULL!
You just don’t associate that as ”full” cause your not stuffed as pre op days
A lot of obese/emotional/comfort eaters feel the same way
IF YOU ARE NOT HUNGRY
Then its time to change your thinking
THINKof yourself as ”full”
(without that stuffed uncomfortable-yet soothing comforting feeling)
In order for this surgery to work it is important to change how you THINK about food
As believe me-how you think about food
determines how you ACT about food!!!!
I did try to tell you that it was no picnic and its for the rest of your life which as I seem to remember that you are very young(17)
Is a long journey/lesson for you to learn
but the alternative
is simply to horrific to think about
best of luck darling xxx
