SusieQ – the supplement should have iron in it…needs to be a broad spectrum vitamin and mineral…

Some of the American bariatric supplements are good, some not so good, so would suggest speaking to one of the dietitians first for some advice as many of them are pretty expensive (not to mention shipping costs).

I take regular supplements (have been doing so for years), have done since about 2-3 weeks post op – no problem at all (cut them in thirds to start, then half, and then whole). I take quite a few supplements, but my vit/min is in capsule form so the capsule can be emptied out and you just need to swallow the powder…
