Hi,
I had my bypass 6 weeks ago today and I suffered from a stitch in my left hand side for ages after and was told that though you can see your outside wounds healing you can’t see what is going on inside and it is just your insides knitting together and settling down as I said I am 6 weeks post op and I still but very rarely now suffer from them normally after I have over done it, so nothing to worry about but if you are concerned give your team a call for reassurance. What does concern me is the fact that you can drink a pint of fluid in 4 mins, little sips would be better.
