You don’t say when you had your bypass but I remember after I had my done that I had pain down my left hand side very much like a stitch and I phoned up St Richards and they told me it was quite normal as that is where most of the surgery is done and though you have healed on the outside it is the inside that is healing and knitting together and that takes longer, I am now just a year on from my bypass and still I get the very odd little twinge just to remind me of what I have had done. I hope that helps but if you are still a little concerned I would sugest you phone where you had the op and they will put your mind at ease.
