Hi all

Had my surgery on Wednesday 23rd and was fine to go home.

I now can’t sleep or get comfortable with no pain. Is this normal? I feel like my band is to big.

Also my tumby hurts in places where surgery wasn’t done? Is this normal?

Sorry to sound silly if it’s normal just scared.

Hi Lucylu

Please don’t ever think that any question you ask is silly – someone else will have either already asked it or is about to!

You will be uncomfortable for a little while but if you have any worries at all and it is not being managed with pain killers then please contact your team for advice. Treeza is right that the gas in your tum may be causing the pain and it does disperse (don’t be polite!) eventually.

Please let us know how you get on and hang in there. Your brand new life is just about to begin 😉
