I can vouch for all of those treeza .

It’s hard because we don’t often do it. I think children are encouraged more to praise themselves today which I think is a positive thing. My generation would have seen it as ‘boasting’. I’m glad it isn’t like that anymore. It’s a very British thing not to blow our own trumpets – it’s one British ‘tradition’ I am more than happy to drop.

However, it shouldn’t be taken too far. There are children who think they are brilliant at everything – boy are they in for a shock when they get out into the real world!
