Hi Kimberley, good for you, you have done really well. I thought about joining the local gym after my wls but, knowing me, and how I used my gym membership in the past I forgot that idea very quickly, we adopted a dog instead, a bit drastic I know but our spaniel died the year before and we missed having a dog, so that got me out every day, no matter what the weather, and believe me it was great after spending most of the day sitting down. Also, I like dancing so you’ll never guess, I went back to my belly dancing class, it’s great fun, there’s all different ages, shapes and sizes of ladies and we all have a really good time and spend more time laughing than dancing but it’s good exercise, where we can stop laughing and its very social, so dont’ feel you have to stick to the gym to get your exercise, look for something that you’ll enjoy and think you can stick too and won’t intimidate you, after all we’re all still very fragile mentally after wls, it’s alien to us to look after ourselves for once, enjoy it.

Take care and well done on your weight loss, size 14 from Sainsbury’s is TERRIFIC…..
