I am three and a half weeks in, and the last two weekly weigh ins I have not lost any weight! What an earth am I doing wrong? I am eating the same as I did the first two weeks. I am still on purée. Ready brek for breakfast, small yoghurt mid morning, well balance lunch (140ml), banana afternoon snack, and usually a soup for tea time. Yes, I am a little constipated, but normally only for a few days. Cannot increase any excessive yet, as need to lose some weight first! Struggling a bit with trying to get at least 1.5 litres of fluid down, but am not far off. Have studied my paperwork over and over, am doing everything right! Have read as many threads as I can on the forum. Anybody have any ideas please? I had the sleeve xx

I was exactly the same as you, worried that I wasn’t losing weight and bleating on here about it but to be honest I was told that I would not lose any weight for first two weeks. I lost 11 lbs but then stopped but I was told that I would lose a stone a month and that it was I do every month, it is however not evenly spaced however but I may lose say 1/2 a stone one week then nothing for a few days and then another three a gap and then by the end of the month hey presto a stone gone. Please don’t panic, although I still do as I’m scared that it will stop working, stupid I know! Don’t fret and eat good protein rich food, I struggled for awhile as I couldn’t keep meat or fish down but touch wood I am trying both again and so far so good. You will be fine and although I have had a bypass so slightly different op, the eating regime after must be the same, my saving grace was and still is hot milk or hot milky coffee, so if I am having a “dumping day” and cannot keep anything down, which now 14 weeks out tends to be triggered by stressful events, hot milk gets me through. Head up, put a smile on your face and just relax and let the weight slip away.
