I so hear you
My loose skin weighs approx 4 stone my bingo wings measured at hospital as hanging down by 4 innches my inside thighd no longer recive blood supply so have turned black all this i can live with and cover up in much bigger size clothes than i actually need but my stomach apron overhang has pressed constantly against my bladder giving me a serious medical condition( for god’s sake I now need to wear incontinece pads daily) I have letters from specialist surgeons and phychatrists to say in their opinion I need this surgery as i have exceptional needs
and have STILL BEEN REFUSED FUNDING BY PCT
I appealed their decision and have STILL been refused funding meanwhile the tops of my legs get numb and lose all feeling when I sit or drive for any length of time due to the sheer weight of my overhang sitting on them.
Sexual intercourse is now a physical impossibility due to genital prolapse ( so my marriage is very sad now)
I WILL NEVER GIVE UP
but its been the longest battle ever and its not over yet.
It can not be considered ”cosmetic” when it is giving me such a poor quality of life
AND STILL REFUSED FUNDING
it makes me so sad
As naked I look about 80 years old due to all the wrinkles and folds of heavy lose excess skin
MY husband can’t bear to look at me -something which I could never have anticipated
when i started out at 31 stones
WHO KNEW EH!
Its so sad x
