HI I have been to 2 appontments now at the hospital after being refered by my gp to see first the surgeon and today the multi-disiplinary team about having bariatric surgery talking in depth about what will be the best option for me, the proceadure, risks and post surgery diet.. feeling very excited and seeing a light at the end of the tunnel i was then told walking out the door that it was now in the hands of my local PCT who in the current climate were not being to generous with their money?????????????
Can anyone shed any light please is this normal to be told this or where i go from now how long do they take to make their decision ETC HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
feel like a carrott being dangled but just to high to grab 🙁
