Hi caz

Congrats on your new friend . I had my band 16mths ago and my total loss in 5stone . Doodah is right in saying your body is adjusting but i’m sure this isn’t what you want to hear . The truth is there s no answer, we are all different and what works for one may not work for another . When you start having your fills this should make a difference, untill then you have to make good choices and let your band work for you.

I echo doodah’s thoughts on speaking to your nurse , and be realistic in what you want to achieve. I know people who have lost 6/7 stone in 18 months, but i also know a couple of people who have lost 3/4 stone in the same time. Dont be hard on yourself and remember you didn’t get overweight over night, so it will take time to brake habbits and work with your new friend .

Heidi

Thanks so much for your words of wisdom Heidi (still love your name.) I think they mean so much more when they come from someone who has had the same procedure. I think we are all very lucky to have this place to come to when we need to be heard and understood 😉
