Thank you ladies!

I was sooo excited this morning and nervous too; in the Nuffield Guildford at 7.30am down the theatre at 9.30 in recovery at 11 (well first time I knew of it!) home by 5.30pm

Feeling fine at the moment, only port site tender and sore  actually I’m feeling over the moon!!! Bring on a tinier Tina lol
Just a bit worried as to what I can eat for the next few days. Any suggestions welcome xx

Woo Hoo, welcome to the club you big loser!

People find it amazing that they can be in, done and home inside a working day! Fantastic.

As for the early days, I stuck to pureed food, however, you are a bandster not a bypasser. I think it’s pretty much the same in the very early days though as you will have some residual swelling for the surgery itself.

Carol Ball has some great ideas for immediately post op recipes: Bariatric Cookery Recipes | Bariatric Cookery

Her books are fantastic throughout the whole wls experience so well worth considering as a purchase.

Please keep in touch, especially in these early days as your emotions will be up and down like an elevator! It’s the time we need the support of others the most. Thanks for letting us know how it went 🙂
