I have asked a colleague and they are of the same opinion as me that your GP has a duty of care at all times, whether or not you have had privately funded surgery. My GP saw to my needs after a few weeks of having a privately funded tummy tuck. I would suggest a second opinion from another GP at your surgery if possible. Or do what I do and Google it!
