Hello CurvyJem,
I have to say, like Doodah, I stuck to Bovril and OXO cubes, my advice, for what it’s worth, is be careful of carb free diet as you have to sign a statement saying that you will ensure that you are not constipated prior to the op. The milk diet can make you lean that way, so just be careful that’s all. Which hospital are you having it done and who is your surgeon, you must be excited and nervous. I had mine done two weeks ago and do not regret it, you have joined the best forum, welcome

Lelly

Hi Lelly, I have been following your progress on here – how are you getting on?

My surgery is at Clementine Churchill Hospital with Guy Slater – I’m really looking forward to it but trying to arm myself with as much information as possible prior to having my Bypass!

Thanks for your advice on carb free, my thinking was to be suffering as few cravings as possible during the dreaded milk diet – how did you find it? Maybe low sugar is a better idea to try?

Thanks for the warm welcome 🙂
