Even the thought of eating M&S rice pudding makes me feel sick so won’t be trying it. Not tried tapioca since bypass. I’m a real plain Jane now. Know what I can eat & stick to it. Been caught out a few times & don’t like it

That’s what I do. It may not be right, but it has served me well for almost 8 years now. So, ‘If it ain’t broke – don’t fix it’ is the motto that works for me.

Dumping is just so awful and downright inconvenient that I just stick with what I know will keep me healthy.I cut sugar in my tea to try to salvage my teeth a bit, not in order to cut calories. Funnily enough though, although I still don’t enjoy tea as much without sugar, I have started to find ‘ordinary’ things too sweet. So maybe it’s a ’cause and effect’ type thing??
