Hi Kimberley. Thank you for your message. I haven’t been out today as it’s been pouring all day! But… Ive done some washing and even cooked for my girls! Feel like a good mummy.
As for food I’m not eating much and am concentrating on fluids. I’ve just had peppermint tea to help with the wind. Here’s hoping! By the way did your sense of smell go off the chart? I can’t bear some things. I had this when I was pregnant. Very strange.

Yes, it did! I have always had a very keen sense of smell and especially so when I was pregnant. After my bypass, some of the normal smells in my house like detergents and cleaning products, literally used to make me heave! I’m not a clinician but I think the bypass changes hormone levels – hence putting type 2 diabetes into remission?

Anyway, you are making a flying start my lovely: Sip, sip, sip; walk, walk, walk: rest, rest, rest. You will soon feel on top of the world 😉
