Morning John,

I had my first fill with my consultant and then my last one with Kay the Bariatric Nurse and she now wants to see me every 4 weeks, where as my consultant wanted to fill less often (Kay said this is because sometimes he forgets to take his NHS hat off) She feels that the gold standard is 4 weekly checks and a fill if necessary at those appointments. I’m not sure why the first one only lasted 2 weeks, this last fill maybe the same only time will tell, maybe thats what it’s like until we hit that “sweet spot” Kay did say that as you loose weight the band will get looser so that could be the reason.

Hope that helps and good luck tomorrow but you wont need it, honestly it’s just the holding your legs up in the air that is difficult.

Nettie xx
