I’m veggie post op and my blood counts are the best they have been my entire life! Pulses, nuts, seeds, leavy green veg and Sanatogen Gold have made me the healthiest nutrition-wise I have ever been. Never any problems with either Iron or B12.

However (you must get SO tired of hearing this!) we ARE all different so please don’t rely on someone else’s experiences. Get regular bloods done and stay in touch with your dietitian in the early stages. Try everything toi start with as that is obviously the best thing for us all, however, you will very soon be able to identify anything that is going to be problematic in the long term. I still cannot even consider rice but can eat pasta with no problems at all. I can also tollerate a small amount of sugar (honey on my toast) but not fat.

This journey is simultaniously both unique and exactly the same to us all! What a ride?! It’s why we need to hold each others’ hands – so we don’t stray too far from the right road and get lost ;-))
